We’ve popped together a list of quick and easy Halloween costume ideas inspired by your little one’s favorite movie and fairytale characters, using overalls that you already have or can get straight from Dotty!

1. Pippi Longstocking
Make their Halloween cheeky, fearless, and full of fun with a Pippi Longstocking costume using their Dotty Dungarees!
Inspired by a well-loved character by Swedish author Astrid Lindgren, Pippi is known for her fiery red braids, adorable freckles, adventurous spirit, and, of course, her playful outfits. To achieve this look, our Forget-Me-Not Corduroy Dress, the Rainbow or LOVE Denim Dresses would be the perfect outerwear paired with the Robin Red Breton Stripe Tee. As her name entails, add a pair of striped or spotted stockings to truly step into Pippi’s spirit!

To start, you can choose any blue-colored overalls (our Sky Blue Denim Overalls or Forget-Me-Not Corduroy Overalls would be perfect for this!), a long-sleeved yellow striped shirt (just like our Ochre Breton Stripe Tee), and add a pair of plain white sneakers for your little one.
