1. Pippi Longstocking
Make their Halloween cheeky, fearless, and full of fun with a Pippi Longstocking costume using their Dotty Dungarees!

Inspired by a well-loved character by Swedish author Astrid Lindgren, Pippi is known for her fiery red braids, adorable freckles, adventurous spirit, and, of course, her playful outfits. To achieve this look, our Forget-Me-Not Corduroy Dress, the Rainbow or LOVE Denim Dresses would be the perfect outerwear paired with the Robin Red Breton Stripe Tee. As her name entails, add a pair of striped or spotted stockings to truly step into Pippi’s spirit!
Finally, to complete the look, tie your little one’s hair into two braided pigtails and paint little freckles across their nose and cheeks; voilà! Your little one is up and ready to channel Pippi’s mischief, magic, and endless imagination!
2. Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz
Fellow Ozians! It is time to rejoice because transforming into one of the most beloved female heroes in film history, Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz, can be whipped up in no time with our overalls and tee combo!

Let your little girl spark into Dorothy’s loving yet brave spirit this Halloween by combining our Forget-Me-Not Corduroy Overall Dress paired with the Edie Frill Top or the White Long-Sleeved Peter Pan Collar Tee. To finish off the look, tie your little girl’s hair into two pigtails, pop on a pair of red shoes or slippers (to mirror Dorothy’s iconic ruby slippers!), add a little toy dog to be Toto, and a woven basket (that she can use for treats!). And there you have it, your little girl is now ready to go trick-or-treating down the yellow brick road!
3. Classic Scarecrow
From little tots to grown-ups, there’s a reason why there’s always someone in your friend group who dresses up as a Scarecrow for Halloween. The Scarecrow is a crowd favourite for being one of the simplest and classic go-to costumes for Halloween!

To achieve this look, our Blackthorn Patchwork Overalls or Sage Corduroy Overalls would be the perfect outer layer, as they give off a rustic look and feel. Pair these up with a plain White Maxi Top, a pair of your child’s trusted boots, a simple straw hat, and some scarecrow-inspired face painting.
You can also pop on some fresh or artificial flowers and a little raffia or fabric peeking from the pockets and cuffs to complete that rustic, warm, and Fall-friendly Scarecrow look!
4. Bob the Builder
Can we fix it? Yes, we can! Bob the Builder is a childhood classic, and we all remember how this used to be one of our favorite after-school shows!

All you need to achieve this look are our Forget-Me-Not Corduroy Overalls combined with the Red Long-Sleeved Baseball Tee. Pop on a toy toolbelt complete with some plastic toy tools, a yellow hard hat, and badabing-badaboom, you've got yourself a mini Bob the Builder ready for a full day of trick or treating!
5. Mario and Luigi
Its-a me Mario! And Luigi too! Video game’s favorite brothers, Mario and Luigi, have overall-based outfits that are quick and simple to whip up at home using our overalls.

For Mario’s look, simply pair our Navy Corduroy Overalls or the Forget-Me-Not Corduroy Overalls with the Red Long-Sleeved Baseball Tee and a red cap with Mario’s signature ‘M’ logo stuck on. Now use the same Navy or Forget-Me-Not Corduroy Overalls and pair them up with the Khaki Long-Sleeved Baseball Tee to achieve Luigi’s look. And to complete the look, pop on some fake moustaches and white gloves, and your little one is now ready to save pretty princesses and fight giant Koopa monsters.
This look is also the perfect go-to costume idea for siblings and a nostalgic nod for parents.
6. Agnes from Despicable Me
Giggly, adorable, and positively full of charm, there’s a time when Agnes from the Despicable Me movies won our hearts and became our favorite character. With her playful high ponytail and her trusty unicorn plush, dressing up as Agnes for Halloween with our overall pairings is a total breeze!

To start, you can choose any blue-colored overalls (our Sky Blue Denim Overalls or Forget-Me-Not Corduroy Overalls would be perfect for this!), a long-sleeved yellow striped shirt (just like our Ochre Breton Stripe Tee), and add a pair of plain white sneakers for your little one. Finally, to finish off the look, tie your little girl’s hair up into a high ponytail and add a stuffed unicorn toy.
Like Agnes, this costume is simple, bright, and definitely smile-worthy!
7. Max from Max and Ruby
For your little bunnies who love good old fun adventures, Max from Max and Ruby is the perfect overall-based costume idea! Max is Ruby’s cheeky and mischievous little brother who has a heart for exciting adventures and getting into playful yet adorable trouble.

To bring Max’s look to life, pair up our Pale Denim Shorts or Forget-Me-Not Corduroy Overalls with a Robin Red Breton Stripe Tee, then add a little bunny face paint and whiskers before topping it all off with a bunny ears headband. Now your little carrot-lover is ready to skip and hop along the trick-or-treating lane!
8. Minions
Ba-ba-ba Ba-banana! Everyone’s favorite little yellow sidekicks, The Minions, are also a top go-to Halloween costume for children and grown-ups alike, thanks to this costume being simple and quick to assemble.

For Gru’s little helpers, look for a pair of either the Stonewash Denim Shorts or Stonewash Denim Overalls, and then pair them with the Yellow Baseball Tee. To add more Minion touches to your little one’s costume, complete the look with round glasses or goggles, and stick Gru’s ‘G’ logo on the centre of the costume’s torso area. Your little one can also pop into their little black boots and a pair of black gloves to round up the whole look.
Whether solo or as a sibling group, this costume is easy to whip up and perfect for a night of treat (or banana) hunting!
9. Wreck-it-Ralph
The gentle giant, Wreck-it-Ralph, is a little clumsy but definitely has a big heart. His signature look is easier to create than you’d think. Start with a pair of our Robin Red Chunky Cord Overalls and combine them with the Red Long-Sleeved Baseball Tee, or if your little boy has an orange and red checkered shirt, this would also be perfect!

For some finishing touches, ruffle your little boy’s hair slightly to make it messier, and your little boy is ready to go trick or treating in all the fun of Ralph but minus the broken bricks.
10. Belle from Beauty and the Beast
Give your little bookworm the enchanted adventure in the great wide somewhere through Belle’s iconic village look with the help of our overalls.

To start, we think the Forget-Me-Not Corduroy Overall Dress would be the perfect outer layer for this costume, then pair this up with the Long-Sleeved White Long-Sleeved Peter Pan Collar Tee, add a simple white apron on the front of the dress’s skirt, and tie your little one’s hair in a low ponytail with a classic blue ribbon. You can also finish off the look with a woven basket, a pair of black flats and a book or two, en voilà! You’ve got a mini Belle ready for a night of fun Halloween adventures.
This costume is not only a tale as old as time, but it brings a delightful wave of nostalgia to both children and parents alike.
11. Hello Kitty
And last but definitely not least, the iconic bow-wearing, cute little white cat, Hello Kitty, is a costume idea that works adorably well with our overalls.

To get her iconic look, start with either our Stonewash Denim Shorts, the Stonewash Rainbow Denim Dress, or, if your little one prefers a brighter look, you can opt for the Red Corduroy dress. Combine these overalls with either the Short-Sleeved Yellow Baseball Tee or the Long-Sleeved Ochre Baseball Tee, a little dab of cat face-paint complete with whiskers, a kitty-cat ears headband, and top it all off with Kitty’s signature red bow on one side of the cat ears headband.
And just like that, your little one is all dressed up as everyone’s favorite kitty and ready for a night of purr-fect trick or treating!
